The reason for this question is to determine how many people actually keep money rather than spending it.

I am SO good at saving money, I actually have the same $100 bill from each of my last 3 birthday presents. As fishing season is bearing down upon us I have a strong burning sensation to to buy that new G Loomis GLX rod I've been wanting for so long. At the price they go for,(about $455) I might have to wait another 2 years. Awwwwww the agony of saving money for an expensive rod instead of going out and buying 3 All Star rods for the same price.

I have no cash on me at the moment - but then I'm wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt - no pockets.
I do, however, in the hidden pocket of a bag, have $200 as a gift from Christmas. Harder to spend the big bills, IMO.

I'm a teacher. Does that answer your question. IT's a GOOD day when I have $20.00 in my pocket, let alone $50.00!

I never keep anything more than change in my pocket because I don't want to risk spending it.

I rarely have more than $20 in my pocket. I prefer to use debit or credit cards.

Right now only some coins; however, this is not because I spend it quickly - I hardly ever have cash. I always use checks or debit card...
