Probably not. Contract negotiations like this have gone on for near 40 years in my company, and once have they gone on strike. As of late, it is always about healthcare, and making the employee contribute (most of them hired before 3/2004 get benefits they don't contribute to, unless they actually have a doctor visit, where they pay 20% of the bill) to healthcare. Thing is, as of last contract, it is arranged where most new hires won't ever get benefits, and their top pay is very low. No more time and a half on Sundays until they've been with the company for 6 years. I think they've screwed the new employees so much, I can't see how they can ask for any more. These companies are just trying to mirror comanies like Wal-mart that give their employees nothing, and still make millions...billions for themselves.
