lol, I know they did.. but these recreational riding horses seem to get attitudes alot. When people rode their horse for hours to school and back every day and to go shopping, did they act out less because they were more used to being handled? I just ask because sometimes my horse likes being ridden, but when she doesn't want to be ridden, if it was way back when... I would have never made it to work on time, lol... When people depended on horses, how did they manage.. horses take so much time help them get past every little attitude problem....

I think its because horses were used as the main source of transportation those days. They were used every day and all the time making them seem more "broke". Horses now a days don't get ridden that often or don't get the right trainer or just develop very bad habits and sometimes people don't know how to correct them.

ok the means of travel was horses and they were considered vauable to the owner . it was more quiet then . just horses . most people did one thing . the same ole trail everyday . horses followed it in the sleep . does this help less of everything
