Look I dont watch that garbage I only saw 2 minutes of the first episode and thought it stinks from the very begining. So far the only one I see from the show with talent is Kelly Clarkson. I despise Carrie Underwood and Taylor Hicks with intensity.If any of you AI fans can answer this without an ad hominem attack on me or people who dont like Idol I might give you the points. Otherwise let my fellow anti-idol pals answer the question. Dont even think about putting Soul Patrol as an answer or saying something dorky that the Oklahoma Banshee may say as an answer. Not everybody likes this show or Carrie Underwood and Taylor Hicks get over it. And no I dont wont to join your pro AI Yahoo group. Just give an intelligent answer to this question.

Like I said I only saw 2 min of the very 1rst episode and was discusted by it.And No I havent watched it since I only know anout passed winners by the news. Yes the truth does hurt. The truth that not everyone either watches AI or likes it so there.

i completely agree with you,so many people say things like" OMG why don't you watch it YOU SUCK" you know it gets on my freaking nerves. And yes why should they care if anyone else doesn't like it when someone says they hate a show i watch i just say" well more for me!" or " i don't care" . Well yea those people are probably brainwashed and don't know what good TV is but they can waste their time as they please i guess.

The first epesoide is always the funniest thats why so many people like to watch it. Everyone like to see people make a complete fool of them self on national television. But after all of that the show starts to get seious and the rating start to drop. i agree with you on the whole Kelly Clarkson thing she is the only real talent on the show. C i dont hate you i agree with you and i still watch AI.

The show is interesting in the fact that it shows all people who have phone dialing capabilities shouldn't use them.
They have ended up with some people who aren't as talented as they need to be to sell albums. Look at Chris Daughtrey...he didn't even come in second or third place last year and he out sold Taylor Hicks by a long shot.

well, i like American Idol, and i don't hate you. or anyone else who dislikes the show. i mean my brother hates AI, and i don't hate him. but i don't like Taylor Hicks and Carrie Underwood either. it just depends on how strong of a AI fan you are. and it's your choice to like American Idol or not...

I don't hate anyone.... i like the show..... i don't agree with all the choices made by the voters.... but i don't have to....
the great part of living in America is that i don't have to like what you like and you don't have to like what i like.....
Freedom of choice is what make this country great.

I hate all reality shows with the exception of AI
I hate the show " Lost"
I hate stupid people that can't see past the last episode of what ever mindless drool they watched the night before.
I can't stand being stuck in room of people that can tell you what happened on whatever stupid show the saw last night but can't tell you what was on the news.
I can't stand people that are hooked on "lost" but have no idea what is going on in the middle east.
I call AI my night of brain dead TV.....
I enjoy it and that's all, i don't live by it.

I don't really care for those "reality" shows in general. Some people live by them and some just can't stand them. It's silly to argue over liking them or not. People need to grow up and not worry about what T.V. shows other people like. Over all, it's petty.

wow, you really hate it too? My wife does not hate me for not liking it, she hates me for erasing it from the dvr before she can watch it.... It seems maybe you might be complaining a little too much about it, sort of flying off the handle at the mere mention of it? I know, I have been there, try a cold beer and some earplugs, that usually helps me.

I like American Idol, but have never cared who else does or doesn't. What does piss me off are the folks who hate me for not liking Jerry Springer!
