Anyone know of a good bagpipe tuner ???

Yeah, me!... But I don't work cheap.

If you're looking for an electronic tuner, try The British Shop. If you're looking for an inexpensive tuner, get a Korg CA-30 for $20 or so and check out The ToneCzar's pages for instructions on how to covert the readings to HZ if that's what you're looking for. If you're just looking for something to tune the drones to the chanter, the CA-30 works well if you're a steady blower. Otherwise, the actual bagpipe tuners are going to cost you around $500.

I don't know where you are, but here in Denver we have a great place. It's called "Two Irish guys, Bagpipe tuners and Guinness.

gently probe the fingerholes with a pneumatic jack-hammer. that will free up the particles blocking the tubes, which causes that annoying off-pitch sound.
