I'm sure you are. I'm sure somebody who is mature who state the fact that they are mature.

Anyway---read classics. Contemporary books are no match against them.

I like Uglies, by Scott Westerfeld, along with Pretties, and Specials. I can't put them down when I read them. Also, if you like fantasy, Inkheart and Inkspell by Cornelia Funke and great books
And there is Sharon Creech, with books like Walk Two Moons, and Bloomibility are really good because they go into the into- workings of a teens' mind. Well, that's my opinion. I'm a thinker. I also like one of Andrew Clements books, "Things not Seen". It's not a little kid book, like some of his others, but is about a kid turning invisible. It's great! Also, Avi has some great books. Books like Face on the Milk Carton, by an author I can't remember the name of are great! Anyway, I pretty much read any genre, so a hope I've given you a good variety to choose from. Good Luck!

Amityville Horror sounds good. I'm really crazy and 13, and I was able to watch it on TV without getting scared.

Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol. Although this story was originally created for young adults, I read it when I was about 25. It still is a favorite story for me. It is the best fantasy book ever written in my opinion.

I loved Shakespeare when I was a kid. Not the 'translated into plain English' versions, but the actual English that was used at the time.

You should check them out!
