when my 2 weeks old get in her private moment !?

Question

My 2 weeks old is very funny, she sometime get into her moment where you can see her laughing to herself, or sometime she will just make mean face, or just role her eyes in a funny way like she is comunicating with someone invisible.


any idea of why she does that?

infants sometimes laugh at this age because they have a gas bubble that tickles them, its really to young for them to communicate, they have no voluntary control over muscle movement yet........so she is just following along to whatever her little body is doing right now! It's cute though, have fun with her.

My aunt and mother-in-law say that babies see angels. I always thought they made this up, but my baby will lay on the floor staring up toward our lights or lamps, and laugh, and reach for something, and her eyes are focused just below the lights. She is 2 now and is delayed, so she doesn't speak like most 2 years olds do, she only has about 8 words. she will lay and talk her gibberish to the lights all the time. I am beginning to wonder about the angels now. Either way, just enjoy it, it is sooo much fun to watch, and anything that makes her smile is worth it. They are only this size for a little while, it goes sooo fast.

She is dreaming and it is quite normal, all babies do that.
And as she is only 2 weeks old she cannot mimic faces
as she can't even see them properly. It's dreams, trust me.

At two weeks, babies have little, if any, muscle control. Facial expressions at that are completely involuntary.

if i would guess i would bet she saw it somewhere, or shes copying something she saw on tv. like having a fake conversation like an older person would.
