Because I do, and apparently the media is too stupid to conceive that a woman of Britney's stature would do something so supportive! Disgusting that people actually think she did it so she could be in the spotlight since Ana Nicole's passing! Geez! I'm not even a Britney fan and have enough decency to think a little bit higher of her and her "new do"!

Yeah, idk, but I'm not gonna assume that she was drunk or high. People do think low of her now only because she's not as famous as she used to be. It's kind of sad how her support system decreased.

Hahahahaha.... The odds are greater that she got drunk and was triple dogged dared to cut off her hair with scissors, and upon awakening in her drunken stupor, realized her new self imposed hairdo and had to go to the local barber shop, and get it all chopped off.
She is mostly ashamed of herself, because instead of supporting it as you suggest, she is hiding it under a hood when she goes out in public.
Her publicist, fearing the worst (the media realizing the truth) might just claim what you propose. That it was a mere stunt to support such and such.
But, I won't believe it. Don't get me wrong. I like Britney Spears, I think she's talented, used to be cute. But I also think she is dumb, careless, immature, and probably not the best role model for kids these days.

I would consider thinking "higher" of Britney if she had ever in the past done anything to support anything other than herself. It isn't like she's Oprah or Angelina Jolie just throwing herself into charitable work....I don't think I've ever heard of Britney being passionate about a cause like cancer or AIDS or starving 3rd world countries.
No, she did this because, as I've said many times, she is insecure, attention-craving and her life is heading in a downward spiral.

When has Britney Spears done anything to promote attention to anything but herself. She has never supported a cause that didn't have her name on it.
She is a attention seeker plain and simple.

Who knows. Maybe she'll have a publcist release a statement saying why. Maybe she just had problems with her hair [lice, bleaching problems] not to be funny or anything but it could've been true.

I wonder if she donated her hair to locks of love? I suppose it is possible for her to have done it for a noble cause such as that, but judging by her most recent behavior, I tend to doubt it.

who knows but i saw something which is probaly a joke about her selling the hair on ebay with lice in it and donating the money to some school or charity either that or ATTENTION IS WHAT SHE WANTS!!!!!! ( either way she is getting it )
