Strangely enough - because they do have that right.
Do you hand over all of your paycheck to your man? Do you hand over any of it at all? Are you offended that I even asked that and preparing an argument about how you worked hard to earn that money and you should be able to spend it as you see fit? If so, why is it supposed to be different for a guy just because he agreed to live with and/or marry you?

Excuse me??? Not the whole thing and not just an allowance either. If it was the woman working would she have to hand over her whole pay check. Why would there be any difference? It has to be shared so expenses are all taken care of and both are living comfortably.

That's not a relationship if the man gives the woman all the money. That just shows that the woman is in for the money. HOEEEEZ! lol. jk. hahaha. but yeah, that wouldn't be fair for the guy.

guys are pyshically more active and they enjoy risk more tahn women do,girls relly need to understand that.they need freedom,relaxation,not that women dont but they are way more into actively energetic stuff and they dont enjoy dull stuff like cleaning and ect..not that all men do. Because they worked for it. Unless they're married, in which case they should both split all of the costs. But they do have to have something and it's selfish and gold-digger-like to want it all and I dont' understand your thinking.
