If we did not win, Great Britain would be the most powerful country in the world, and we would be under the rule of the Queen. Also Mexico would own California and Arizona, like that entire area over there.

Okay. The question was NOT 'what would the world be like if the Revolution had never happened' - that's a stupid question, because no one can possibly know.

I would say that the main impact of the Revolution immediately was its intellectual impact on Europe: it contributed to an intellectual ferment that eventually overthrew the ancien regime in France in 1789, and shook the rest of Europe very seriously in 1848. America was the darling of European intellectuals (fancy that) who saw in the revolutionary ideals a means of overthrowing oppressive autocratic regimes at home.

Only everything you call civilization today! You have rights that no other peoples on the planet have today, because of that Declaration. You would be singing God save the Queen if not for those rights. It singled our Country out from ALL other countries on earth. And we were sworn "one nation under God" I think alot of people dont think about that. We aggreed forever that we would be by the people for the people . Never would a Monarch rule us, a dictator, or facist make the rules. We are blessed.
