It depends on several factors such as condition of the coin, rarity of the particular date & mint on the coin.

There is the Red Book that has retail values for American coins. Also there are some web sites that will give you basic values.

It may be worth as much as $30 dollars in good condition. If its an Indian Head penny, depending on how much wear and tear its seen, whether you have it in a case, a 1907 penny will sell about that much.

Also, if you go online, and compare prices on ebay, you will see that people are practically giving sets of them away for 12 bucks for a set of 10, so you may have a hard time selling online.

It depends on quality and date. Check with a coin shop. Don't clean it.
