Now, I wasn't willing to time travel so the way I did it when I was playing was to go to my friends towns and bring back foreign fruit and plant it in my town. Now in order for it to grow you need to cut down one of your own trees, dig a hole and replace it with the new foreign fruit. I do beleive that the foreign fruit is worth 500 at Nooks and your own fruit is only worth 100. Also, keep your eye out for coconuts that can wash up on your beach, plant those in the same way along your shore and harvest those too. Just keep in mind that palm trees only grow 2 coconuts at a time.

Also, have you been checking the recycling box in the post office? Take the stuff from there and sell it to Nook.

You can also go fishing and collect bugs and sell to Nook the specimins you don't put into your museum.

There is also the buying and selling of Turnips. You buy them Sunday before noon from Joan and if you keep them on a table you can keep fresh until there is a rise in the Turnip market, check with Nook to see what he's buying Turnips for and when they go up, cash them in for big money.

Trade turnips!
If you have a friend with the game and are willing to time travel a little, you can get very rich quick. Wait for a huge price on turnips at Nook's the higher the better. Then on a different game set the time to Sunday morning. Find Joan buy as many white turnips as you can afford and go to the town with the high turnip price and sell them. Use the profits to buy more turnips. You will quickly get more money than you can carry.
If you have no friends then just keep your turnips on your table until you find a good price. Turnips kept on a table stay fresh for years.

Have you tried GameFAQs and sites like that? I don't actually own AC:WW, so I don't know much about the earning of funds on it. D:
