OMG!!! Spandau Ballet! Duran Duran! That takes me back to the best years of my life. Driving down to the beach every day in the summer of 1985/86, a summer that never rained and every day was hot and wonderful. So I gotta say the '80's for me was THE best.

Hot on the heels of the 80's is the 60's - the real swinging 60's stuff ... Petula Clarke, Dionne Warwick, Dusty Springfield, The Doors, The Righteous Brothers. These guys were the highest-height of cool.

The 70's was woeful - as they say, 'The Decade that Taste Forgot.'

And they think 'music' today is good? I say "HA" to them all!!

70s and 80s

I like them all, but mostly the 70s & 80s, the 70s cause i was a young lad and bands like queen, slade, deep purple and E.L.O got me into rock and it was the time of my youth and innocence, the 80s because music changed so much with new romantics & punk, the album Bat Out of Hell was a must have and was great too.
But to be honest i just love music and ive been lucky to see some of my fave bands/artists in concert :-)

hard question because i think the period of 1965-1975 made the best music meaning I can't decide between 60/70s
