Dinner definately... you eat at like 5 or 6 then take your time at the restaurant then you go to a 9 o'clock movie then home for a goodnight kiss...

I think the movie should come first because it will give you something to talk about during the dinner, and you don't have to rush dinner to make it in time for the movie.

It's always been dinner and a movie (movie 2nd) while i was growing up. But u kids today probably would watch a movie on your pod or whatever while you eat dinner and use your cell phone and who's knows what else at the same time all while trying to drive a car.

personally, i would say the movie first....then the dinner....this way, you can discuss wether or not you liked the movie during dinner.
I would especially reccommend this on a first date, cause sometimes on a date you run out of stuff to talk about....but if you go to the movies then have dinner atleast you have the movie in common that you can talk about. Whereas, if you went to dinner first and it was ackward....you might end up making some excuse and skipping the movie!

I've never actually gone to a movie before dinner. But it sounds like a great idea. Think about it: If all else fails, you'll have the movie to talk about during dinner, you can save money by catching a matinee, and you won't have to rush dinner.

I think that the date should be planned out where you go to the movie first,(just don't eat too much popcorn!) then dinner because that way you definitely have something to talk about during dinner.

I think the movie should be first and then the dinner. It's an advantage because you will both have something to talk about at the dinner. It's easy because you wouldn't be lost for a subject or have to wrack your brain for something to say. It's pretty easy to offend others now, and this is a safety net almost. Hope I helped!

The dinner is supposed to come first and then the movie. That is the way that we have always done it.

I would much rather go to the movie first because if I go to dinner than I'll probably fall asleep in the movie

I'd say movie, so that the two of you will have something to talk about over dinner.
