It's easy. Put your music in the windows media player by dragging androppin it in the library.

drag the songs to te sync list.

plug you psp in the usb port and scroll to the very left to the area with the settings(on your psp) and press the button with the usb pic.

press start sync.

when it is done, go to my computer and press disk K.

you should see you music. drag it and drop it in the music folder in the psp folder.

if i am missing steps feel free to email me..

This is what i did...i have itunes so if you don't this may not be helpful...

plugged the psp using a usb to the computer...turned on the usb mode by going to settings and pressing X on USB connection. Your psp is now ready to retrieve files.

OK.. if you have itunes.

Start
My music
iTunes
iTunes music
go to your artist, album then song...keep that file open

then to open your psp file..

Start
my computer
removable E drive...STAY ON THE USB MODE SCREEN ON YOUR PSP OR ELSE IT WILL TURN OFF
psp
music
then drag the iTunes file into the psp music folder

Plug it into your computer with the USB cable and you can just drag files into your psp music folder. If its an old psp you will need an update to download anything other than mp3 but that shouldn't be a problem to find.

You need to plug in your PSP to the computer with a USB cable, then set your PSP to USB mode (an option to the far left under system settings).

Once there the computer will recognize it as a mass storage device, probably calling it drive "F" or something we'll call it F for the example

Open it, inside there is going to be a folder called "PSP"
Open it! Now you should be in "F:\PSP\"
There might be a folder called "MUSIC" if it is not there just right click and add it, please make sure to type MUSIC in uppercase.

so now you should have "F:\PSP\MUSIC\" there is where you want to put your music, if you have an MP3 you can just drop it there, be aware that creating folders inside that folder will work only for the first level, for example "F:\PSP\MUSIC\NICE\music.mp3" that file will be recognized so we're good, but if you put too many folders inside folders it won't recognize them
for example "F:\PSP\MUSIC\NICE\COOL\AWESOME\music.mp3" won't work, you need your files under music, or nice at most.

If you have updated the PSP you should also be able to use wma files as well, if not it will be strictly MP3.

Hope that helps!

:)
