Okay my minor is German so listen to me, okay? There is no use for "haust," that is a misspelling. There is "Haus" or house. "Hast" means has/had. "Hasst" means hate. The song by Rammstein is as the last person said, You have asked me and I said nothing. When the other person said it means to live, that is not often used and would be put differently... you could say "Du haust auf dem Leninplatz" but you would probably say "Du wohnst auf dem Leninplatz".. and if you did use it that way it would be the equivalent of "housed."

"Du hast"' is the title of a song by the German Heavy metal music group Rammstein. The title is commonly interpreted as "You Hate"

These answers are partially right.

The song "Du Hast" means "you have"

When singing the lyrics, Rammstein often says "Du Hasst" instead, which means "you hate"

However, the lyrics make no sense if you interpret it as "you hate"

Like this:
"You hate"
"You hate asked"
"You hate asked me"
"You hate asked me and I have said nothing"

Those lines only make sense if you interpret is as "you have"
