Hearing how some of you talk makes me sick. If not for american Idol 'Since you been Gone' would be un heard of. If not for American Idol, all Clay Aiken's albums would vanish. The impact the show has had on so many americans, musicians, and just every day people is incredible. people love the auditions because they are so funny, people like hollywood week because they get to see who will get on the real show, and people absolutely LOVE the real show because it decides who will be the next famous, rich pop star. Just the idea of the show makes people want to watch it; going through 100s of 1000s of ordinary, everyday people and eliminating the bad ones to find the next undiscovered voice. I think that anyone who watches the last few weeks of a season will become an instant fan - even if they made fun of it before. Randy is just a cool guy who likes callin' his peeps 'dawg' and that makes everyone like him. Paula is a famous singer and no matter how many times she does something stupid like last year, everyone can like her. Of course, sometimes, the only reason some people like to watch American Idol is to hear Simon's insult all though everyone supposedly 'hates' him. Anyway, I am an American Idol fan and talking trash about the show is just unacceptable. All complaints to me can be sent to googdoss108@gmail.com.

I really like it. I have found though that it is one of those things that either you really like it or you really don't. I used to get really mad when the person I liked best would get within the top 4 or 5 and then get voted off when everyone knows they are the best. I changed my mind when I realized that it is really better for them. They have been introduced to the world and people want to hear their music. They can make it big from there with no problem. If they win they are obligated to American Idol for several years. Everything they make goes to American Idol. This way ....they come out ahead to get voted off close to the end. Strange isn't it. Favorite season...not sure...wanted Bo Bise to win...but last year wanted Chris Daughtrey to win. I think Chris has to be the best capable of singing different styles, so I guess last year though I hated Taylor Hicks and wanted him voted off first week.

I love American idol. I think I'm addicted to it.
I started watching it last season and I fell in love with Elliott Yamin. I have been watching American Idol Rewind and I really liked Kelly and Justin so I'd have to say season 1 or 5.

It can work only in America. First, only here are people so horribly shocked to hear negative reviews a la Simon, whom I respect more and more daily. Americans demand to be praised no matter how meaningless, horrible and disatrous they are. Secondly, the candidates' complete oblivion of how bad they are at singing is also very American - other people know when they suck at something so they don't apply. But American bloated eg bring so many horrid morons to those auditions! And it is so hilarious to see them make complete idiots of themselves in front of millions of viewers and STILL think they're great!

David prepare dinner is my absolute widespread, little question. i'm useful that David Archuleta will win this season, exceptionally now that VFTW is on his aspect. i want David prepare dinner to win yet he will be triumphant no count number what! I honestly trust little David will want the Idol identify to bounce-initiate his occupation besides, at the same time as David prepare dinner is in a position to promote archives because it is. So, easily, both way works for me!

I love it, don't know why, but I do. My favortie season was the first one, only because I live in Arlington, TX and Kelly won. My husband went to school with Nikki McGibbon,3rd place and we see her alot around town, mostly at Karoke Bars. Thats all

I love it....I feel it gives talented people a BIG boost to help their dreams come true!
And they don't even have to WIN to get that exposure. I just watched a Bucky Covington video today, he was on last season. It was surprisingly good, too!

I don't like it. It's garbage television.
Like junk food for the mind.
Any reality show that uses rudeness and negativism to get ratings is not for me.
It doesn't entertain me in the least.
