its a felony charge, will that make it harder to have it transferred?

You need to get permission from your probation officer..and with a felony ..i think it would be a parole officer....and yes with a felony ..i would not count on it .

You would need to speak to your probation officer and apply for transfer through the Interstate Compact. The receiving state will send your file to the local office where you want to move and they will decide whether or not to accept you for supervision.

Some probation transfer are supposed to be accepted automatically. You would need to have immediate family in the new state and also have gainful employment waiting for you.

It might...what you wanna do is talk to your PO. If it is a job related it may be easier.
