I've bought several things, but the first thing I ever bought was the reason I ever even went to ebay: I needed tickets to a Yankees/Mets game that was sold out. I found some.

I have bought loads off ebay, 9 foot wrought iron gates for my house £77!. I have bought clothes etc - it's great. I have also sold lots of things on there - now have a business on there - it's fab.

I buy a ton of things off eBay all the time. New clothes, baby things etc. I know a guy who bought a van off eBay.
If you want it cheap, gotta use eBay.

I bought a massage chair once. It was not as cushioned as was described so I ended up selling it to a friend for what I paid for it. Worked out good. I've sold things on e-bay, but I make sure I am very explicit in my description.
