career in journalism?

Question

I am studying journalism at liverpool community college, over the past year i have good experience with several newspapers, does anyone have any good decent contacts for me for when i leave? or any advice?

Also, i live in runcorn in the u.k for anybody near here with advice

Advice: Never Reveal Your Source.
I wrote for a newspaper and submitted 3 to 5 stories a week. It didn't pay well $25/week, but the experience was well worth the while as the editor taught me different aspects of writing to make a story more interesting. I enjoy reading other peoples writing for newspapers. You have any to share?
