I wouldn't even be going in on the day after my win. I'd be calling him whilst on a plane to the sunniest place in the world, & telling him to stuff it.

I would give my 2 week notice as required in writing but tell them personally that I'd like to be let go as soon as possible. I would also offer them a large ammount of money to use as insensentive to hire more people for my line of work as home support worker. My company is always hiring because they have so many clients that need the help that is offered. It is a worthwhile job but unfortunately the pay isn't that great. So there should be yearly bonuses with the amount depending on the number of hours an employee puts in. That would be a great way to get and keep employees and ensure that there are enough of them available when I am elderly and need assistance too.

I don't think I would be nasty or hard hearted. I have had some pretty wonderful bosses over the years. I would say something like "I want to know where you and your spouse like to have supper for a special occasion" then I would get them a $100 gift card.
