I knew they would lose the war on terror just like they lost Nam. I guess we might as well go buy our turbans and burkas.

Dems lost Iraq? I thought that your Dear Leader, President George W. Bush was saying this war can be won if we "stay the course." Then Dear Leader, President George W. Bush denied saying that, doesn't that mean Republicans are losing the war. Dems just want to get us out, which isn't losing, it's just retreating.

First of all democrats aren't even in the white house so how could they lose the war. Secondly, don't be so melodramatic, this war is far from over. We'll probably be fighting it well into the second half of the 21st century.

Why don't you start your own country.... We (US) didn't lose anything except the lives of people that did not have to die. That's a lot but is of no importance to people like you. Go back to being a National guardsman. Only old guardsmen who never fought anything think like you. All dressed up and no where to go......Get a life then get a brain.

OMG...what is it going to take for you Bush-supporters to 'get it'?
I mean, I think perhaps you should volunteer for the frontlines in Iraq to get a clear understanding of what people like me (Democrats) already know; this war is a huge, Bush-initiated mistake!
The US (Democrats and Republicans, included) didn't win the war in Vietnam...because...it was unwinnable!
At any rate, even though we lost the Vietnam War, I don't recall any one of us (not one) going out to buy rice wine and rickshaws!
I don't even recall one Vietnamese person coming over here and making us buy/wear/use their products!
So...whatever you're talking about; it just didn't happen, man...it just didn't happen!

We're giving you a welcome party when you come back to reality.

BTW, Vietnam was an equally-shared debacle, begun in the Eisenhower administration (56-60), continuing with Kennedy and Johnson (60-68), ending in the Nixon administration (68-75).

in fact, I've not heard anything... wierd...

looks like you were wrong... you can buy a burka if you want, but it doesn't look like you'll be needing it..

Wow, the war's OVER??? Yaaaaaaay!

Oh, wait. We still have troops in Iraq, and Afghanistan, and all over the world. I guess nobody's "lost" anything yet. Too bad for your pity party.

Not me. I like being able to vote, walk outside freely, earn a living and generally not be abused by men. They can have Hilary, 'cause this mama is still ready to fight.
