None.

But that is because I talked to a number of older people and took their advice.

First, living a life of "being grateful" and "count your blessings". Thank God for what you do have. It's a cliche, but there are always other worse off than you.

Second, never second guess your past choices. Someone once said "you can never know what could have been only what was." "Could have been" is merely our belief that the grass was, in fact, greener on the other side. But, in truth, it could have been much worse.

Third, forgive the people that have hurt you and don't hold grudges. It is said that with forgiveness you set the captive free and discover the captive was yourself. That is to say- when you hold grudges you only hurt yourself. In fact, held grudges will eat away at you like cancers in the soul.

Finally, remember the perspective of looking back at your life. If you live you life now while thinking about how it would affect you life later, you will be doing well.

Dr.Erik Erickson, the renowned developmental psychologist, talked about each stage in life having a conflict that should be resolved. (It was modified from Freud's stages.) The last stage of life has the conflict of "consolidation vs regret". Consolidation is the ability to look back at your life and make a story. Regret is regret.

Good luck.

i've never regretted anything. not even as a child. i've learned to accept my mistakes and move on. Regretting only ever stops the world from turning. Once you begin to regret you change things for the worst.

I need to repair a relationship with a family member. The movie "The Secret" motivated me to take action. I want nothing negative in my life. I do not want to be the cause of negativity in someone else life. I am in the process of writing a letter telling them I forgive them.

I would regret leading a boring life. However, for it not to be boring, there have to be unexpected twists...a journey into the unknown...and therefore, I can't say, at this point, what I would have to do.

Well, if I would die right now, I would say that I haven't traveled much. I have traveled some of the states, but not all of them, most on the west coast, none on the states on the east coast.
