Au contraire, denial has the ability to refute and reinforce thoughts that create reality.
Where time moves, the complexity lies in the where and when over immediate manifestation of physical characteristics.
A physical form may be moulded through a mental process to manifest physical attainments of mental aspirations.
Focus, will and thought, rather than thought alone, creates a reality that enables change to an existing state through either denial or acceptance.
On the assumption based on the school of thought that minds are capable of rewiring elastic brains:
( 2006 or 2007 ?Times magazine: nerve ending of amputees reported to be felt on the face instead of on the stump of the limb, monks experiencing a certain positive energy through practise of deep meditation when placed under hMRI. )
Addictions, repetitive or recurring thought patterns, may be readjusted through the mind which under the new school of psychological thinking, believes the mind capable of rewiring itself over time.
Emotions, for sake of argument motivated by conscious thought, may be similarly rewired over time. (sic) Denial may be associated with memory echoes and possibly reinforces latent intent without entering the person’s consciousness. Ensuing physical manifestations are usually abrupt and revealing in its confirmation.
Trigger events that leaves the subject bereft of emotions or subject to continuous higher motive to sever emotion from thought to create a new reality is also possible under the above mentioned rewiring of the brain, albeit often through trauma.
Trauma may be replicated purposefully during times of peace to reengineer minds in preparation for hostile environments. Examples out of civilian context include certain types of water torture, a process drowning the subject matter followed by revival. Similarly the act of causing loved ones to perish through the act of decimation in ancient practices or by giving up associations to harden the heart as practiced in the Foreign Legion. A successful subject matter from this process is trained to react or counter certain triggers of emotion and emotions itself through denying the Self.
Drink problem as an existing physical state may be taken as an illusion that one does not have a drink problem, therefore, thought might create an illusory reality.
The idea of the existence of directly opposing poles on the above mentioned must exist for a thought to be able to justify either of conditions: that which does not obviate does not create it. Where opposing poles misaligns, this form of logic collapses; logic does not appear and may not be the sole attributing cause.
One may hazard a guess that denial, conscious and unconscious, is not thought alone and therefore not reconciled satisfactorily within the confines of classical philosophy alone.

Bunky is right. Denial refutes the statement that thoughts create reality.
Well done Dad, but look again - it 90% mental 10% physical by his own admission. Passing over whether or not you can divide reposnsiblity up on a percentage basis there is a brute reality which cannot be dealt with mentally. If your Dad didn't have the basic physique then no amount of thought would have created it.
If thought "created reality" then denying a drink problem would create a reality where you had no drink problem! You cannot wish/think a drink problem away. Therefore a drink problem is real whether you think it or not. Therefore, at least with drink problems, thought does not create reality.
Lets try it with a few more things. Remember if thought does not obviate it then thought does not create it:
- Can you levitate if you think you can? No - gravity is not created by thought
- Can you live without food if you think you can? No - the need for sustenance is not created by thought.
- Can you alter the weather by thought? No - the worlds weather system is not created by thought.
Thoughts do not create reality.

Yes you are right, if someone "denies" an addiction, emotions, illusions etc, this addictions, emotions, illusions will not go away with denying them. They then will make themselves "heard" even stronger! Often in an addiction lies as the cause of having this addiction, a "unfulfilled need". So if someone has a drinking problem this problem wants to show him something. This can be from showing the person that they have surpressed their spiritual impulses, be it in terms of giving or receiving love as one example, or following a certain path in their life, be it professionally or emotionally. As this urge in its origin comes from their unconscious mind or soul, it wants to be heard whatever it takes and this is why denying such emotionally based problems like addictions always backfire, as the original intention and wish of the surpressed spirit stays and wants to be fulfilled. Better is to face the sympton and find out what the underlying intention or cause is for having this problem and then fulfilling this original intention in a healthy and beneficial way.

because denial is knowing something but not admitting it. it surpresses emotion which is worse then fixating on it, and denial really just means that deep inside you believe it will happen even more. Think about it. If you are denying it then it must be strong enough to cause. so the reaction is the same. it maked what ever you think, happen.

the translation you're utilising has 'only-begotten' that's derived from the Greek monogenes. That Greek observe does no longer advise 'first created'. there is yet another Greek observe for that, and that's protoktistos. that's by no ability used with reference to Jesus. on the different, Paul makes use of a diverse observe, prototokos, to speak of Jesus (translated in English as first-born. See Colossians a million:15) Monogenes could have the meaning of priority, pre-eminence. as quickly as you study John 3:15 with that comprehend, it is going to become sparkling. the rationalization why Jesus can not be a created being is that he would then develop right into a god of lesser status than the writer. yet John a million:3 proves that Jesus is the writer, and verse a million then makes complete experience - "The observe became into God". of direction your translation refuses to have that, relegating the observe to demi-god status, as "The observe became right into a god". which ability you have Jehovah because of the fact the massive God, and Jesus because of the fact the little god, top? 2 gods makes for polytheism. that's why you dare no longer worship Christ! you do no longer prefer to be to blame of polytheism, which the Bible condemns! ok, then, why do no longer you admit that calling Jesus 'a god' is incomprehensible - why does not your translation be completely straightforward and only state, "The observe became right into a amazing one". appealing to English dictionary meanings for English words only won't do. you're able to follow the koine Greek of the 1st century. get lower back to there, and you will study that Jesus became into by no ability created, yet that he's the writer.

it's just like grammar. there's no logical explanation. y do we have to learn how to diagram sentences again? well the only thing i can think of is that because ur denying that u have a problem ur not going to think what ur doing is wrong so u r gonna keep doing watever it is. even if people tell u, u believe that there is nothing wrong and that u don't need help. it works in the same direction both ways. if u deny it, ur gonna keep doing watever. if u believe that u can achieve it ur going to work ur hardest to achieve it. it's all about wat ur believing.

I think it's the other way around; denial is very productive(defence mechanism) and reality creates thoughts; that we perceive them does not mean that we create them, let alone reality.
Of course, it can always be the way you say it is. That's always a possibility.

believing produces self encouragement...though what you believe may not be true it has the possibility to become true, and you can acknowledge that it might not be so, there by not conflicting with reality. But when you deny something you immediately come into conflict with reality and when you fight reality you can never win. you must embrace reality to overcome it.

If denial is counterproductive (and it is), then perhaps thoughts don't "create reality".
