I think it is a money machine. But then all commercial news media are. It is just that
Rupert's politcal and religious agenda are far more obvious. It is clear
that there is a market for FOX's type of journalism,
just like the SUN, Sky, and the Post. It is sad sometimes to think that there are that many
rabid fans, as I'm sure will be evidenced by
replies to your query. I kind of think of them as the
pro-wrestling of TV news. However, they are entertaining (at times) and effective at what they do.

I don't watch the news much, but when I do, I don't see all that much difference between FOX and the other big news channels. I don't really understand the obsession with Fox News that seems so prevalent. It's up to us to be big boys and girls and figure out what's what no matter who is giving the news. Personally I don't find any of the medica news broadcasts that informative.
Am I the only one who feels that they tell you what they're going to say and then they have a commercial and then they tell you what they're going to say and have more commercials and some news that is not what they have been telling you they are going to say and have another commercial to tell you what they're going to tell you and by the time they get to the news item they could have done an in-depth report, instead of which we get 30 minutes of broadcast time and one minute of news, or thereabouts.

Zbigniew Brzezinski, who was former national security advisor under President Jimmy Carter, a member of the Council Foreign Relations, first director of Trilateral Commission and was also President Barack Obama's college professor at Columbia University wrote “… In the technetronic era society the trend seems to be toward …effectively exploiting the latest communication techniques to manipulate emotions and control reason. Human beings become increasingly manipulated and malleable …” It's all properganda to divide and conquer. Television makes the viewer to assume because your getting all your political opinions from television regardless if you support what your viewing or basing your ideas on how others think from watching the opposition instead of critical thinking you get from reading or research.

Not necessarily, but its news coverage **unquestionably** has a very strong conservative and right-wing bias, in line with the views of its owner Rupert Murdoch. Fox manages to evade this blindingly obvious fact by claiming that other major networks have a liberal bias: a generalisation for which I see very little evidence.

It would be nice. A news channel that has values. Howerever Murdock and his crew is very informative and not afraid of telling the truth. This news orginization is not like the others who kneel at the alter of political correctness.

They love Republicans, Bush could order another attack on a different country tomorrow and they would have a meeting on how to make look like a good idea.

I'm not really sure, I think so. I know that Bill O'Rielley is Republican. Trying to get him to convert to a Democrat would be like making a Muslim eat pork!

They seem to favor the Republicans; however, Alan Colms of Hannity and Colms is a solid democrat but often as not, he doesn't know what he is talking about. Hannity, who is very obnoxious, wipes out Colms.

Absolutely NOT. I THINK that it is sometimes percieved that way because it is the ONLY station that ALLOWS Republican's a spot to voice their opinions. All of the rest are VERY left leaning sooooo....FOX ( despite it allowing the left leaning a voice too) is criticized for ALLOWING THOSE Republicans to have even a little voice!
