I had the same story.I have long wavy hair I had a lot of cheap straighteners but they didn't straightener my hair then I thought about having expensive one and I bought Infiniti by conair.I live in state PA and it costs $54 and it is very good one.

Have you ever gone to a black hair salon? You could probably get a perm/relaxer in your hair. It will straighten it.
