I made another question like this on here but it wasn't too specific. I want to register a domain with the name "nike" in it. Would this be illegal to do without Nike Corporation's permission? Lets say I'm an affiliate of Nike and I make a site about how you can get special deals by using a link on my site. My site would just be about the shoes, etc (basically whats on Nike's site but reworded).

From the sound of it, if you are an affiliate you would need their permission before offering promotions or things of that nature on your site.

Nike is a registered trademark.

If you use that trademark, without authorisation, ESPECIALLY when it is in relation to nike products, you are breaching nike's intellectual property rights.

Many companies have policies in place regulating how their products may be advertised, so you should definitely check with them, or you may no longer be an "affiliate" of the company.

Check with NIKE's legal office.
I would hate to see your bank-account get cut-and-bled by one of their in-house attorneys for failing to get their permission to do what you're trying to do!
