- Roomy enough for a 8+ party
- Good food a must
- Great mixed drinks and beer selection
- Possible private party rooms available...not necessary but a plus
- Not too too expensive, but certainly not a dive or plain...I'd like a trendy/chill place thats comfortable

Any help is really appreciated! :-D

Try Gypsy Bar, or Match. I think both would have what you're looking for. . .Outside the city (I think it's in Allston?) is a place called SoHo which is pretty good too. You might want to try somewhere first for a dinner with fun drinks and beer, etc, like a really nice restaurant and then hit some bars. I love the Rustic Kitchen for a nice sit down meal, and they have fun martinis and a nice bar area. Then of course, since you're right near the Theater district you could go to some of the clubs in the Alley, like Liquor Store. Enjoy!

Okay a few fun places with great food and drink:

Golden Temple in Brookline - great place for group dining and good Chinese food in very nice atmosphere

Midwest Grille in Cambridge - Brazillian BBQ - lots of fun - they bring the food along on skewers and slice it right there for you. The food keeps coming

Cantina Italiana in the North End. One of the few places big enough to accomodate a crowd and has great food at more reasonable prices.

Anthem near North Station - an upscale comfort food place. Pretty trendy space...a bit too foo-foo for me but it is chic.
