You have to pronounce the "uh" at the end. It's a German word and they do not have silent vowels.

It's a confusing issue because, while the company is German, it's named for an Austrian family. In fact, most people with the name Porsche in that area of Austria would likely pronounce it "Porshh." Which is probably why there is some confusion around this issue.

While that might be the more common way for that area, the Porsche family has always pronounced it "Porshhh-a." As such, it seems that this would be the correct way for the company name as well.

Being the car is named after Dr. Ferdinand Porsche the founder, both he and his son Ferry Porsche name would be pronounced Porsch-uh. The E becomes an UH for us Americans.

You pronounce the e at the end. That is the proper German pronunciation. We Americans have a bad habit of changing the pronunciation of foreign words to make them easier to say, but that doesn't make it right.
