In Illinois, it has a good reputation. ISU is considered to be a solid school. The school is considered to be very good in education. It just has very low profile. In terms of pubic IL rankings, it's right below the three University of Illinois.

3. UIS/NIU/ISU
4. SIUC/SIUE

Illinois State has a pretty good educational program. Other than that though, I haven't heard much great about it. And to whoever said they don't know anything about colleges in Illinois, that's funny. I'm sure they know Northwestern and University of Chicago... and the University of Illinois in Champaign is pretty well respected.

I have never heard about anything about illinois colleges. Are they even on the top 10 list?
