Hello everyone. I want to register a domain with the name "nike" in it. Would this be illegal to do without Nike Corporation's permission?

Nike is the name of a Greek goddess, therefore a publicly available name. I suppose the legality will depend on the content of your site. Is it related to shoes or something else?

If Nike feels that your site in some way relates to their business they may cause you grief.

If you can demonstrate that you are using the name of the Greek goddess Nike, and not the trademark-protected fictitious business name of a manufacturer of athletic footwear, you should be all right.
