If you are going through a difficult time and everything seems to be going wrong, I'm pretty sure you are depressed. Depression (even a mild depression) can cause you to procrastinate doing things you would normally just do without thinking about it. Force yourself to keep your normal routine of doing things, this may help you bounce back faster. Remember - if it doesn't kill you, it will only make you stronger. When one door closes, look for another one to open. Keep your head up! Good luck.

I would like to answer this but all I can do is tell you I'm going through a "trying" period right now also and yes it is hard to stay motivated with certain things. I used to always be on top of stuff but right now it is hard to be. The one thing that is helping a little bit for me is to exercise. When I'm on a treadmill I am not only helping my heart and body but also walking out a lot of hurt and frustration I have. Hopefully things will get better for you soon. I heard recently that time doesn't help pain but what you do with your time can help the pain. Goodluck and God Bless.

I can relate to what you are feeling. I have had many personal challenges this year. My brother was killed in a car accident, my dad passed away of heart failure shortly after, my Mom broke her hip, my daughter got hit by a car and has lost the use of her right hand (she is right handed) my husband and I had a brief separation. I can tell you this, life throws curve balls. ONLY the strong survive, God tests your strenth and your faith. It will get better. You have just got to believe. Keep yourself very busy. I know all too well what it is like to have things go bad. Do things that make you happy, spend time with people that make you happy, and most of all be good to yourself. Hope this helps.

I think we've all had times like this. The most important tip I can give you is to keep taking care of yourself. Eat a healthy diet. Don't overindulge in fattening foods or alcohol. Drink water. Get exercise. Avoid spending time with people who are downers. Spend time with people who have an upbeat attitude.
If you take care of yourself, you'll have better judgement for decisions you have to make which would help you get out of this bad period, and you'll be able to enjoy good days when they come. Good luck.

I usually just sit on my own and don't talk to anyone as much. I listen to my music and drown the world out. After a day or two I feel better. I have no idea why this works for me but it does.

Sounds like you are falling into a depression. Be careful and don't wait long until you go see a Dr. if you continue to feel this way much longer.

I would suggest you set an appointment with your doctor to see him so he can get an idea of what is happening with you.
