exactly WHO is the black man he is talking about? The only thing not lily white about Obama is the slighty darker hue showing on the outside of his skin.

Answerman: It's RACIST, not RACIEST.
Janie: It's SEEM, not SEAM. You SEAM as about intelligent as you spell.
LOL, this question was only intended to make people think. Seriously, I don't care if the president is black, white, woman, man, whatever. Part of my issue is that Obama will play the black card for all it's worth. If he wins, he "overcame" if he loses, it's "because he was black" no matter what anyone says now. I guarantee that is what all the black people will say.

I would hope people don't get hung up on skin color.
I do not favor Obama's policies, and I think he's inexperienced.
But race is not a factor. If someone has the philosophy and character I am looking for, I don't care a bit about race.

I think we are ready for a black pres. and even a female pres.
And to think that other countries like Iceland, Malta, The Phillapines, Finland, have all had female pres, how come the most powerful country in the world cant get over something so trivial as a female or black pres? You would think America would be a country who wouldnt see color or gender but who is QUALIFIED for that position. But I have learned to not be surprised at how America reacts to issues like this.

So you are saying that he's not "black enough"? Just how black does he have to be? Would it help if he robbed a convenience store? Would that make him black enough? He's a black man that educated himself and just followed his dream. Not a white man's dream...or a black man's dream...he followed his own destiny. America has been ready for a black President for some time. Colin Powell would have been elected had he chosen to run. Is he "black enough"? I'm wondering if perhaps you are not a bit racist.

I agree with much of your question but don't be surprised if someone manages to get it pulled with complaints. And yes America is ready for a black president just not any of the ones that have tried so far, despite the split in this country the majority are not willing to go that far left, and all the blacks that have put themselves up for the job so far have been so far left they make Mao look like a crusader for democracy. Too bad we can't get Colin Powell to run,but he won't because his wife fears for his safety and that seals the deal as they say.

I don't think he would have been referring to anyone in particular, just stating with the events of the worlds and opinions changed in everyone over the last 50 years, then it could be beneficial that America has a black President, and one I would definately support, though I am not even living there.

Billy Clinton was the first Black President. Obama doesn't even know history.

No problem with race or sex of the next president. But let it be someone intelligent that rules out Obama and Hillary!

He didn't say that, what he said is if he didn't win the office that it would not be because he is black, it would be because he didn't get his message out well enough. I truly wonder if there is a special place in hell for raciest.

He is not completely black, but he did not say the US was ready for a completely black President...Just a black President. Therefore he qualifies.
