Will the termnial velocity be the same, and will they accelerate to terminal velocity at the same rate? Will a falling bullet hurt you if droped from 5000 ft.?

initially they will fall at the same velocity, however the solid metal ball (assuming it has greater mass) WILL have a higher terminal velocity as terminal velocity is reached when the air resistance balances out against the force (mass * weight) of the falling object.

A falling bullet from 5000 ft would hurt, but not seriously. Mythbusters looked at this - see source link

Neglecting air friction, a solid sphere and a hollow sphere fall at the same rate.

When you start making 'real world' allowances for air resistance (drag), you encounter a thing called 'cross-sectional density' which is used for measuring the equivalent 'force' that the air exerts on anything moving through it. The whole subject gets kinda deep and sticky real fast.

But no, *I* certainly wouldn't want to be the one standing under a bullet that was dropped from 5000 feet ☺

Solid ball will accelerate and fall faster. this is because they are both subject to the same air drag, but the solid ball falls with greater energy so it overcomes the drag better. A bullet can injure you when falling from that height but it would be unlikely to kill you.

1) Same rate of acceleration due to gravity.
2) Same terminal velocity based on shape and friction.
3) Answered "yes" by part 1.
4) Hurt?? Yes, but only if you're a cry-baby.

as long as the two ends are trimmed and the celery and carrots are long adequate to load up a solid volume of dip, then any length is nice! i'm not that meticulous on the subject of the dimensions of carrots or celery sticks. different issues...diverse tale, yet we will not pass there. And yeah, you quite are a huge tease!! yet i will shop ya besides!?? do in simple terms not tell your different girlfriends, ok? it quite is meant to be a secret!!
