what is right opperating temp for a 3.2 amd cpu mine is about 50c is this okay or is over heating

50 c is well within range, it is fine.

that is a bit warm. it's 122F. normal is around 100.do you have a good cooling fan on it and also another or 2 in your case. the temp should run around 35-40C. mine runs around 31-38C with a duo core. it is warm no matter what the others say. check some specs to see what other recommend. here is a cpu temp guide.

But if you PC is not stable, and you think heat might be the cause, you need to find out what the CPU temps actually are.

The simplest thing is to measure the Heatsink temp as close to the base as possible. If you don't have a thermometer use this scale:
70C = Burnt Fingures
60C = Painfull
50C = Hot
40C = Pleasantly Warm

Hot is OK as a Full Load temp, anything higher is trouble. Hot on Idle is trouble.
