I have like a couple of married people...call it crushes, whatever. There was an attraction, connection...not just physically, but with conversation and eye contact...just little gestures. The interest was there mutually and at one point I assumed they must be unhappily married. But I would not want to be classed as a home wrecker and therefore would not let my feelings be known. I thought...if it's meant to be, then one day in the future their marriage will not work out and not because of me...and then we could decide if we should be together. It seems that these profound connections I've encountered never really occured with single men I've dated or been in relationships with or even married to. Why do you suppose fate can be so cruel ?

I should have used the word "LIKED" in a couple of instances in my question/details...instead I made a typing error and used "Like". Please ignore that.

you like men who are unavailable. there are many women like that...don't be ashamed of it...it's not something you can help! Don't be shocked when you get married and someone is asking this about your man!

I don't have an answer to your question but I do want to comment on how well you phrased this question.
Fate has a way of testing people, it is interesting, cruel, intriguing, fun. Unfortunately, you found traits in these men that you haven't found in any free guys yet . . . I agree with you about not acting your desires. I just really liked the way you put it, if their marriage doesn't work then you can decide whether it was meant to be for you two to get together.
Sorry about the lack of insight into fate I just really enjoyed YOUR insight/question.

A lot of married people like to flirt to see if they still "have it". I don't think that it is cruel fate. Maybe you are only attracted to people you cannot have. Kind of a commitment issue you have? I have been married 15 years, happily. I "connect" with other men, but will never act on it. We just find eachother attractive or compatible, and that is it. Fate is when you finally find the one you want, and he is available, not married. Keep looking and try not to be so friendly with the married ones. I wish you luck finding "the one".

Fate isnt cruel. Fate is what it is. If you know someone is married, then there is a general knowledge of how to interact with that person, like not reciprocating LITTLE GESTURES. Allowing yourself to grow "crushes" on married people is being solely inconsiderate of other peoples relationships. The only thing you are concerned about is if their divorce will fail and not being called home wrecker. You should watch yourself and how you act with married people.

I just think that you just really have not found what you are looking for. Fate just do not happen, your common senses derived from your brain and heart decides the fate you are headed for.

I have liked a married man. In my case he ended up leaving his wife because he liked me too. We have been together for over a year now and we are getting married.

Of course. I have never acted on it, but yes, I have had sexual and psychological attractions to others.

I could be even crueler----you could wreck their marriage----hook up with him---until another woman came along and turned his head again-----get the picture?
