Who else would rather worry about their own lives or about the bigger problems of the world?

You must be kidding!!! We call them "Stars" because they are like Celestial Beings who light-up our lives. Celebrities are superior to the rest of us in every single way. If only we would pay more attention to celebrities' political opinions - they are geniuses. Sean Penn, Barbra Streisand and Cameron Diaz are
WAY more famous than Milton Friedman, Friedrich Hayek and Thomas Sowell. Has Milton Friedman ever won an Oscar? Didn't think so. Sean Penn's contribution to political thought eclipses Locke, Burke and the Founding Fathers. Who would you trust to lead our troops in Iraq: General Tommy Franks or Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon? Of course, the obvious answer is Robbins and Sanrandon. If Barbra Streisand could have written our Constitution then the Second Coming of Christ would be indefinitely forestalled because peace and prosperity would reign over humanity.

Another good example of celebrity superiority comes from the cynosure of brilliance, Paris Hilton, when she said, "I don't really, like, think, I just walk." Can you name another philosopher who has built as high of an intellectual tower on the foundation of Descartes and Leibniz? No way...not Nietzche, Shaw, Bergsen or Schopenhauer.

How about our troops in Iraq? If you think they're heroic, then you obviously missed Tom Cruise in "Topgun." Not only did he have to confront the challenges of dealing with his legendary father, the "Ice Man" and just being a general Maverick, he also got the girl.

I'll cut to the quick. No, I never tire of the lives of celebrities. You obviously do not appreciate the impact of their lives on world events. You probably can't name the President of Eritrea, but everybody knows Brad Pitt. You think the fall of the Berlin Wall will be in history books 500 years from now? No way. Instead, children of the future will be taught about how Pamela Anderson saved the ratings of "Baywatch." Why should we have to know boring things like geography and physics when there are John Hughes movies to watch?

Hollywood celebrities have a much greater clue about how the world works. If Patrick Henry were alive today, he would proclaim, "Like, give me convenience or give me death! Well, that, pizza delivery and a 72" plasma screen."

I think there are too many questions on here about them but it is kind-of a form of entertainment for people to read about what they do and there is nothing wrong with doing that.
