I don't know many people who enjoy manga with as much ferosity(sp?) as I do. If anyone DOES like manga, what is it and which would you recommend and/or prefer? Thanks a bunch to whomever answers.

I used to be obsessed with manga. It got me into studying Japanese, which is cool yet a horrible language to take because there's little help available and it's not like Spanish where you can go "yeah, it's kinda cool"... you have to be REALLY into it. But why am I not obsessed with manga anymore? money. Duh. If I go to Borders and have an hour, I find myself picking up any shoujo with a cute cover.

I've recently discovered manga, which are Japanese comics. Personally, I think manga is great. The first manga I was introduced to was Fruit's Basket, so I recommend it. I also recommend Absolute Boyfriend, Hot Gimmick, Chobits, Crimson Hero, and Kare Kano (especially if you don't like manga that is too graphic). I love manga. Specially all the hot guys. I told my husband that the only way I will cheat on him it's with a hot dude from my manga, so he's ok with it :)~
I read Shojo Beat, it's a good combination of girls' manga. And my new found love it's Ren from Skip Beat. It's a very funny story about a girl looking for revenge again her ex-player-user boyfriend by become a bigger star in show biz than him. Girl power!

I am a HUGE anime and manga fan!!! Though i am still woking on my skills for reading anime (I get confused as to which ldialouge box comes next) I ADORE anime movies and TV animation shows. I highly reccomend all of Myazaki's works. I also like to draw manga which is EXTREMELY FUN!!!!!

hmm i usually read online. it is an expensive hobby. i guess i like shojo. i read shojo beat often, lol, i have all the issues. the manga in there is pretty good. i have been reading eden no hana recently, its licensed by tokyopop, but they haven't been selling it yet. it really depends on the kinds of manga you like.
