Not sure, is Francesco Totti a fan and introduced this song for AS Roma?

I heard that some players in AS Roma started chanting the beat of the song "po po po" after winning a title or something and the fans picked up on it and it started becoming a popular chant in Italy mainly. In the WC you could really hear the fans chant the beat of the song. Weird really. lol

"'Seven Nation Army' was first sung during the Champions League matches of Bruges F.C. in the season 2003-2004. After the Uefacupmatch Bruges F.C.- A.S. Roma, the Roma fans have introduced the song in Italy. Newspaper Italian football fans often chant the song's signature bass riff, most notably during Italy's victory in the FIFA World Cup 2006. Some 10 million Italians were supposedly singing the song across the nation the night following the championship game. [2] A coincidental aspect of using this particular song is that in order to win the World Cup, a team has to play against seven different nations. The after-Cup success of the track led it to a second Italian Top Ten entry, peaking at #3."
