I love Cassandra but Jean Gray is on the X-Men. Maybe June, Jade, Jude but I think a two syllable name would fit best. Cassandra Jennine Grey maybe?

First name is very good, but she maybe called CJ by others.
Maybe...Cassandra Marie Gray...
or just say the first two names out loud as if you were calling her to you. It'll help you better decide on a good name.Good luck!

Some things to consider with baby names are:
a) will it embarrass the child when they are older?
b) does it form funny initials?
c) is it excessively cute?
The combination of Jean and Gray could possibly border on cutesiness. However, Gray is a bit somber-sounding so I would say that this name gives an overall sophisticated vibe.
This child may go by Cassie when she is still young. If that does not bother you, then this name is fine.

I like it it has a very formal quality which is a good thing and it has some good nickname possibilities that make it easy to name a baby that and let her have dignity as she ages.
So what if the name has some X-men/ Marvel comic link. People could also argue that there is a Doctor Who reference. Only those in the know about those things are going to pick that up and most will think it is cool.

I love the first name because it reminds me of my favorite childrens book, but the middle name isn't working for me. How about Cassandra Evelynn Gray (pronounced Ev-a-lynn)
