I am running for 4-H congress speaker of the senate (basically, Tennessee 4-H congress vice-president). What are some pointers, how do you think I can win, what would you look for?

What you basically haveto do is provide ideas about planning important state wide 4-H EVENTS. I have already started my introduction speech. Its about the gameshow Deal or No Deal. It is basically asking if they will take the real deal (me as Speaker of the Senate).

If you would provide the duties of the position, it would be helpful.

Ok, I just wonder if implying that another candidate is "no deal" (if you're the "real deal") would be too negative in this context. But I really don't know the context. Just a thought.

Avoid being too themed, but use references to "deal" when making your points, if possible. (new deal, done deal, big deal, i know the deal...)

If your duties are mainly event planning and communication, be sure to talk about using the internet to a greater extent, and finding new ways to tap into the 4-H community.

But be sure to point back to your main campaign focus often when you're communicating. Like I said I don' t really know the context of the election process, but it occurs to me that if there are some issue important to 4-H - is there a more relevant theme to use?
