I think that they should go back to the old tournament style in Mexico. There should not be two champions per year (Apertura and Clausura) screw that! They should make a long tournament and have like a Cup during the tournament, like in Spain they have "La Copa del Rey" I know that they have Copa LIbertadores and the new Super Liga, but Mexico needs to have a cup of their own, besides the tournament, to make the Mexican league more competitive and forget about making groups and that repechage crap! Both Apertura and Clausura are too damn short, each of them last around 4 months, so we are talking about around 8 months of soccer!! that is very little. In Europe they play for more than 10 months and have very few months of rest time. They need a change in the Mexican league and they need to make it fast!

Its better the way it is. Good to have two champions. Makes it more competetive. They also have the Interliga, and get send to concacaf championships, and copa sudamericana. That is alot of games. America is due to play upto 70 games this year. Assumming they qualify in all the tournaments and championships.

I like the old format, the fact that there has never been a champion that finished 1st during the regular tourney, is very unfair, seems like the mex league is rewarding mediocrity instead of consistancy and regular play, chivas won the last tournament cause they played good for 1 month, the full tourney last 3 months and a half!

I did like the old format, but I would have to disagree on it. Mainly becuse of the fact that in Europe it's mainly down to points that determines the champ! In Mex. you have that competitive difference where it's a down right tournament! Like Basketball in a way! I like the fact that every team has the opportunity to fight twice a year for that championship! It creates more hope and more opportunity for any team regardless of how weak it is at the time! Plus it makes the descenso that more suspensful, down to the last game! Also there are plenty of tournaments..plenty of soccer!

I like it the way it is now. This means more people can celebrate there teams win in the 2 different times than just 1 celebration for their teams win in 1 year.

I agree with you but for that the Mexican league needs more Mexican teams.

For Example: America B , Chivas B , Toluca B

same ingredient as in the past yet centred visitor targets are actually taken under consideration. copa mexico: the two 1st and 2d branch will play against one yet another. only 3 foreign places gamers consistent with group. refs and disciplinary institutions are seperate. new call: liga Mx, which i think of is a dumb call: FMF>Liga MX.
