Going to an interview this week and all of my heels are open-toe. I'm wearing black dress pants and wondered if it would be alright to wear a pair of black knee-highs with my black open-toe heels, or is that just a no-no?

do NOT wear open toe shoes to a job interview. there is a certain "dress code" people expect from people at an interview. open toe shoes suggest a casualness that is not appropriate for an interview. period.

A lot of consideration needs to be looked into with open toe shoes, So that means its a no-no to wear flair and cut pants with that. These type of shoes goes well with flairy skirts (specially full biased skirts). Since it'a an interview, your skirt needs to be at 2 inches above your knee, thats the shortest that you can go. With dress pants it's best if you pair it with mules (those pointy shoes).

Yes, I have heard for years that hose with open toe shoes are a fashion no no. The thing is that I don't know where it comes from? I have seen girls/women wearing hose with open toe shoes for years, and like said above plenty oh Hollywood stars do the same thing. I don't know where things like this come from. Just like how people say pantyhose are out of style. There not, they are just called "tights" now, like they have been called in England for years.

If i was wearing open toe shoes forget the tights. Kinda tacky looking. Get a pedicure and your good to go.

if they're tights and the shoe isn't a strappy, slinky number. you need to wear a sturdy shoe (doesn't mean clunky) for tights to look good with open toed heels.

well its not a big one but i would head towards no. its not very attracitve and besides? you could give yourself or get a petticure and show off those feet! but yes, id have to say more of a no but do what you want! good luck!!
