do vampires really exist?

I'm doing an english paper on this subject. I would like to hear people's perspectives and maybe even interview and ask questions to people who know more about the subject or even are one themselves.

There are Vampire bats that feed mostly from the blood of cattle in South America. They weigh about 6 ounces and are very fragile. When reports of these tiny mammals were brought back from exploratory voyages to the new world in the seventeen hundreds, writers seized upon the concept and upgraded vampires from tiny mammals to human undeads.

It's all the fantasy of myth.
Although there are some freaky people that might drink blood as a ritual orsomething. Black magic and all that modern day stuff.
I saw on the history channel one day a show about vampires. Theres a lady that has been taught to be a sort of vampiress in pennsylvania XXXX number of years ago in an european country can't remember the name??? (around the same place they make all movies and stories to have taken place). Anyway she bathed with virgin blood! of thousands and thousands of maiden. She taugh it would keep her youthful* But she also did drink the blood. After some years she was sentence to spend all eternity locked alone inside her palace until she died. Not much of a punishment it you ask me! Well that's the story.

I was born on Halloween, and I believe they do exist. Like the Anne Rice character Lestat, I sometimes ask myself, why is there no evidence of the underworld, but let me let you in on a little fact that is quite eerie to me. Aaron Spellings show charmed, has A name of a very prominent satanic leader, in his show, which is the name for the shows star, shannion doherty"s advertising agency which the character is employed by. Now , I truly believe that celebs, or people in the industry, have satanic connections, and therefore power, due to their deals with Satan. So, vampires, demons, and other such entities, do exist and are lurking all around us. It's rather fascinating , don"t you think?

yes. Basically every mythology/folklore system in the world has a vampire of some sort. Recurring themes are:

1) Vampires are ressurected corpses that feed on blood & life force

2) Vampires are formed by a person commiting suicide NOT getting bitten

3) Vampires spread disease

4) Vampires use sexuality to lure victems to them to feed on

5)Common forms vampires may take: Bat, Wolf, Owl, Vulture, Mosquito, fly, ball of light, floating disembodied head & entrails

These are just the most common folkloric opinions. There are variences in everything on this list of course. I hope you do good on your essay.

They are quite real, both the blood drinking variety and the psychic variety. While much of the lore is nonsense there are a few things that are valid. Increased physical strength, speed, endurance, resistance to injury are true. As is the increased life span. There are other things as well...

Yes i have seen many. They are rare and hard to find. Bu i found luck in the Highlands of Scotland in the remote hilly areas. There is a very remote small village called Invergarry which isn't known but where i seen most!

No not really. There have been some demented people who drink blood and call themselves vampires but only in their minds.

i don't think vampires exist b/c vampires are the walking dead...on earth that is ....as many stars and galaxies out there you never know what kind of terror is out there waiting and watching the earth for the right time to jump...
