Okay I have plugged my video ipod into my mac before and now i am trying to get songs and stuff on my ipod through my pc. when i plug the ipod in, a message comes up that says the ipod needs to be switched from mac format to pc. then it asks if i want itunes to do it for me. I click yes but it does NOTHING!!! I need to like restore it but i have tried resetting my ipod from the menu on my ipod but when i try plugging it in it still doesnt work! please help!!! please please PLEASE!!!!

From the itunes site :

Using an iPod formatted for Macintosh on a Windows computer is not supported. Using an iPod formatted for Windows on a Macintosh computer is not supported. To determine your iPod's hard disk format see "iPod: How to determine iPod's hard disk format." To change the iPod format you will need to restore iPod using iTunes. reckoning on the fashion of iPod, you are able to pass forward and plug it in. iTunes will ask in case you % to repair it or sync your music onto it. in simple terms click cancel. in the iTunes show screen that pops up with the iPod's information, click "Disk Mode" on the backside of the show screen. Then, from iTunes, you are able to drag any music you % to the iPod's icon which will take place on your man or woman workstation. to your chum to get those songs, all she has to do is enable disk mode on her workstation and drag the songs to her iTunes.
