What do white flowers mean or symbolize?

well i love flowers. there is a proverb in russia. if roses last for a while they were given fro the heart. if they die after a day or 2 they werent.
roses mean diff things
1.red - love
2.white - friendship
3. yellow - betrayal
4. black - hate
but for me white roses symbolise pain. they were given to me by my first love who hurt me very deeply.
i also have a tattoo of a rose. it represents the saying 'every rose has its thorns' cuz generally ppl think im sweet but i have my thorns

Death. After death you will go to heaven and become a angel where you will dress in white and carry your white roses as you go through the white light. At least that's what I heard.
