Its not appropiate at moments. But it shouldnt neither be candy coated with quotes like "gee willikers" or "gosh darn". FMA is directly towards an audience in their mid teens or older. DN Angel is for an audience in either early teens. But this is because its like this for Japan. Swearing is okay as long as its not too much swearing. In the anime world, there hasnt been any animes that turned up being a total swear fest unless there was a certain character on a show that uses alot of profanity as his gimmick.

I've only read FMA and DNangel so i don't know about the anime. But a couple things in FMA disturbed me. -_- >_< but it's really good

Oh 2nd bleach opening is D-tecnoLife by UVERworld

i don't know about DNangel, but FMA is really good - until the ending of the anime. try not to watch its last episode - just go straight to the movie or read the manga.

Fullmetal Alchemist is good. It has some violence and mild swearing. DN Angel is also good. There is a little more romance in it but, both of them are appropriate.
