Having someone tell you something... and seeing 'proof' are two totally different things. It may also be that some guys have kind of a double standard regarding porn, erotica, and other visual forms of sexually related stimuli. Somehow they want to keep us 'ladylike' in their heads. You also said he was a friend... not a lover. Sometimes just seeing people out of the role that they perceive us in can cause a freak-out.
