Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen by Tamora Pierce are two good ones. Inkheart and Inkspell by Cornelia Funke are wonderful. They're about a girl who can read herself and other people into books. There is also "A Wrinkle in Time". Many people love this one but it didn't really catch my attention. Lastly there is the Giver and Gathering Blue both by Lois Lowery. It takes place in an alternate universe where everything is assigned and no one gets to make their own choices.
And then there's the Harry Potter series and Eragon is really good. You should also take a look at Double Helix.

any r.l. stine books.(those are my faves) but they are a little scary. he came up with goosebumps and fearstreet books. and i am reading ingo by helen dunmore. it's a good book. here read this it's about it.
by the cornwall coast where sapphire lives with her family, it's easy to hear the call of the sea. too easy.
when the sea called sapphy's father, he vanished from her life. when the sea called her brother, he started disappearing for hours on end. and now the sea calling to sapphy, and she feels it's pull more strongly than she's ever felt anything in her life.
in a novel full of longing, mystery, and magic, helen dunmore takes us to a new world that has the power both to captivete and to destroy. at the waterline, the two worlds of air and ingo meet. sappy and her brother, conor, find themselves at a boundary between these worlds, in a place of danger and amazing discoveries.
and the book cover has in big orange letters INGO. and the backround is a aquamarine ocean with a mermaid swimming to the bottom the water has swirls in it. and there is a sky that looks like it's setting and that has ornage on the top that is going into blue. and there are rocks inbetween the sea and the sky with birds flying in the sky.
check this book out i think you will really like it.

Eragon is a great fantasy book. It has dragons, elves, and dwarves in it. It's about this farm boy who's 15. He finds a mysterious rock, and then later on it hatches. That's when Eragon realizes it was an egg. And it's a dragon. They go off with this old guy, and they save an elf from an evil dude named Durza, then they go to this place with dwarves and elves and then they fight Durza's army. The end. But there's a whole lot more to it. The author was 15 hen he worth it, and it's very well written. It's an awesome story. I hope you read it. :-)
