everyone thinks this is kind of a joke, , The Post office has set guidelines for mail carriers who encounter Dogs , some dogs Lunge at then in fenced in areas , through glass doors and each is given Mace to carry... guess what mailcarriers get bit... Home heating oil delivery guys encounter dogs sometimes , usually the homeowner has the ticket marked to phone before the delievry so the dogcan be brought in a safe area a pizza guy has FOOD !!!! 1) If the customer has a dog on the property and you have a cell call them back and explain You are NOT going to enter the yard with the dog there ( in fact have the boss/ order taker State this .. If You dont have a cell, or aren't willing to use it, dont getout of the car if you see a dog blow the horn and let them know you wont getout of the car.... under such situation ... Many people are scared of dogs as dog owners we need to realize and take responsibility asking a NON dog person whodoes NOT know your dog to submit to being accosted because your to dumb to bring in your own dog is stupid I wear a uniform at work, I dont really want to arrive at my next stop with Dog slobber all over my crotch either ... Great question now IF your confronted Dont turn your back on the dog If threatened teeth and growling back away watching the dog, but not staring to a safe place if worse comes to worse let the jerks wait oir worse comepick up the now cold pizza ....

Yes, you should tip your "Pizza delivery guy." Not only is it good etiquette, but pizza parlor employees do not get paid very much and work hard to just put food on the table. You should tip them one tenth of the final bill for your pizza; the amount usually comes to around $2-3.

I always tip my pizza and/or other food delivery people. They don't make much money and they bring the food right to your home. The delivery charge usually goes to the restaurant, not to the delivery person. Usually, I tip 10-15% of the price of the food, less any delivery charge and/or tax. They are trying to make a living like everybody else.

If he is there on time and your pizza is in good shape, and he is polite YES it is good etiquette to tip him. I usually will tip about 20%. But if the kid has a bad attitude he won't get anything. I had furniture delivered last week. I gave the guys $10.00 each for their time. They brought into the house 4 pieces of furniture.

Well yea it is a kind thing to do and is pretty much expected and all you show when you don't tip them is that you are not a very bright person. A usualy tip is like 2 or 3 bucks for a pizza liek 5 for a lot of pizza. Hope it helps

I always tip the guy. At least a buck, but depends on the weather and if the stuff is still hot. I try to always take care of the delivery guys and hope they remember me the next time. Better tips, better service later.

most places only pay drivers minimum wage, and a small delivery wage(like 50 cents),per delivery, kind of like waiters, they rely on tips to stay afloat. i usually dont do a percentage, anywhere from 2-5 dollars is good, but if you only have enough for the pizza and no tip, well, you gotta eat.

I always tip the Pizza guy, especially with gas prices so high. They make the majority of their money off of tips as they get paid low wages. I usually tip $5 or so.
